Since Baby Winston is here, it’s time to finally reveal his nursery. As you know, Baby Quinoa’s gender was a surprise so we made the nursery as gender neutral as possible and I love the way it turned out! Here’s the inspo board I made for the nursery!
The first thing we did was start building the board and batten wall. Joshua built it himself and did a great job! It was our first time doing an accent wall like this and I think it turned out so beautifully! We ended up going with a darker color and I am so glad we did. It certain lights it looks like a dark grey/blue and in other lights it’s a really pretty green color.
Another key piece of the nursery was our glider and crib. I knew that I wanted a glider in the nursery but I really wanted it to be a good focal point for the nursery and stand out. Our crib came from Project Nursery, it’s the Babyletto Lolly crib. Our glider is from fawn & forest, it’s the Nursery works Sleepytime Glider in Vegan Leather.
We kept the same chandelier in here and it’s from Kichler Lighting. It goes so well with the theme of the nursery!
Our dresser was a DIY IKEA hack from the Tarva dresser. I left the top and bottom natural to match the crib and painted the sides and drawers to lighten it up. I also replaced the hardware with these gorgeous gold pulls from Atlas Homewares. They are the Thin Square Appliance Pulls in French Gold. They turned out to be so beautiful and pull the entire dresser together.
Overall, I am so pleased with how everything turned out with the nursery! During my pregnancy, I would come into this room and pray and think about the baby so much. It’s so crazy that he’s already here and gets to finally experience his room. I know we will be making plenty of memories here!
